The demand for  carbohydrates in Americans far exceeds that of other countries.  According to the 2016 Euromonitor research institute's statistics on the  consumption terminals of global bakery products, the market size of US  baked goods is as high as 57.6 billion US dollars, far exceeding the  second place (also known as China). Billion  dollars; specific to individuals, Americans baked products annual  consumption of 177 US dollars, followed by Japan and the United Kingdom,  the annual consumption of Chinese per capita baked products is only 19  US dollars, one tenth of Americans.
